Default I died to a prius =(
Tonight i was driving my CTS from my place to my gf's house and at a stop light in downtown i saw the most awesome sight of my life. A prius in shinny yellow with a giant wing on the back and what looks to be a big muffler tip. I pulled up to him, he looked at me and then i guess it was on.

He gased it hard, FF had a bit of a chirp and then he was off! uhh i think. I remember seeing his big shinny muffler tip but unfortunantly the light turned yellow infront of him and he breaked hard. He looked at me again, laughed and gassed it again when it turned green. At this point i didnt know what to do, continue laughing, or just maybe let the RPM go above 3k. So i was driivng behind him and slowly i catch up in 6th gear. I thinks somewhere past the 45mph mark, i inched past him and he floored it again. At this point i knew i lost, there just is no stopping a prius.

Well that was fun, made me laugh all the way here.

I dont know whats more unbelievable.... modding a prius or racing a prius.... now does a prius with a modified muffler/exhaust tip sound like a remote control car or golf cart?

it didnt make much of a sound. I had my windows up and his low emissions, eco friendly car zooomed foward and the only thing i heard was a chirp of his awesome awesome tires. i think they were hanook korean tires.

I wish id taken a photo of this joker. If i see him again, ill make sure to snap something. it's just too funny.

please do... we could probably start a pretty humorous thread regarding the most ridiculous cars/drivers to challenge you. For me... a mid 80s VW GTI the other day. I actually let off the gas because I was afraid the way he was weaving through traffic trying to keep up, someone was going to get hurt.

after reading this. on my drive to north jersey over the weekend. i saw a prius tryin to weave it self through traffic. only problem was he wasnt getting any where. not to mention near hits to other cars with care less driving. he passed me and after seeing how he drove. i let him stay in front of me so avoid any kinda damange to my car.

hey i had a quastionwhat would happen if we all died in the same age i mean we know life is unfair somepeople die in 2yrs some in 30 some in23 and some in even 100 but wwhat if everyone died when they become 50??? and no one died before 50 or after 50??

George Carlin had a philosophy of driving that went like this:

Keep the maniacs in front of you (maniac = anyone whom drives faster than you) and the idiots behind (idiot = anyone whom drives slower than you.)
