Default Performance enhancements for M45?

I have a 2007 M45 Sport with an Element 114 exhaust and Injen CAI. What other good perfomance things can I do, that arent super expensive?

from what I have seen - that's it! I don't even think there are any super expensive things you can do....short of fabricating your own turbo, supercharger, or nitrous kit.

I want to do a whipple charger, or a sts turbo system for a mild boost in performance...like 5-6psi at most

As for the injen intake, did you have to take off the bumper. I just recently receive my SP series and on the instruction it states that i need to take the bumper off. Any help!!

From what I've read on here, better have a spare transmission or two.

It you want to improve your M's cornering and griping performance, you need to buy a good set of coilover and lower your car. A well constructed strut bar also helps. You can buy a set of light weight/ strong wheel to reduce the overall weight. You can buy the AP racing brake kits to improve the braking performance as well.

Jet Chips seem to have an upgrade path for your ECU. No experience with it. If you would like to try it and report back, I'm sure others on the forum would be interested in your experience.

I agree, but that doesn't account for fuel enrichment or timing retard functions for boost.

I have a funny inclination that the factory ecu can accomodate the additional airflow though....i'm checking into it as we speak.

UpRev ECU They can put in custom tunes or you can have your car dyno tuned. Base system is $400 and pay for dyno time.
